Summary of national policies on ICV, is this the rhythm of comprehensive explosion?
Since the State Council issued Made in China 2025 in 2015, it has clearly promoted development to a national strategic height. In the past two years, all sectors of industry, education and research and the government have been seeking breakthroughs from various perspectives around this new technology, including research and development of new technologies, improvement of the top-level design of intelligent networking technology, and formulation of relevant regulations and standards.
In particular, standards and regulations, as the fundamental basis for regulating market behavior and leading the healthy development of the industry, have become the top priority for the government as the domestic intelligent networking technology has become increasingly mature and the market scale has expanded rapidly. Based on this background, and on the basis of the strategic program of Made in China 2025, the country has released several important documents since this year, which systematically analyzed and deployed the development situation, objectives and tasks of China's intelligent connected vehicle industry, so as to lead the healthy development of the industry.
Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System Vehicle Communication System Application Layer and Application Data Interaction Standard
Status: Issued on September 18, 2017
As the first group standard of V2X application layer in China, the Application Layer and Application Data Interaction Standard of Cooperative Intelligent Transportation System Vehicle Communication System was jointly developed by 16 organizations, including General Motors, Chang'an Automobile, Tsinghua University and Shanghai International Automobile City, under the leadership of China Intelligent Network Automotive Industry Innovation Alliance.
This standard aims to realize the interconnection of vehicle communication systems at the application layer by analyzing the basic applications such as road safety, traffic efficiency and information services, and defining the information interaction contents, interaction protocols and interfaces between vehicles and other vehicles, road traffic facilities and other traffic participants when implementing various applications. Because different brands of vehicles and rear mounted V2X systems require data exchange standards and interfaces, this standard is precisely based on this demand to standardize data sets and data interaction interfaces.
